After three days of questioning, police in Trinidad formally charged two teenagers with the rape and murder of a six-year old US national at the beginning of April. The horrific case has brought the issue of security into the spotlight once again; especially since it took place during the country's bloodiest ever quarter for murder. In response, the national security minister, Martin Joseph, has invited police officers from Scotland Yard and the FBI to help curb the increase in violence.
